Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a SEMH HLTA to fill a full time role starting in September, you would be an important member of the team at this mainstream Bradford Secondary School, where they are passionate about giving each pupil the opportunity to reach their full educational potential. The school in question contains a specific area for some of the students who that that additioanl support and nurture, therefore a background in SEN/Care would be hugely beneficial to the candidate.

We require a HLTA with initiative and determination. The successful HLTA must not be fazed by challenging behaviour and must be able to cover small groups when necessary.You would be required to offer support across the school on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention groups, therefore an addaptive work style would be hugely benefical. The ideal candidate would also be able to cover planned lessons across the core subject matters when needed, therefore a high level of behaviour and classroom management would be highly benefical.

The ideal candidate:

- HLTA (Level 3)

- Ability to cover pre planned lessons

- Experience within a Secondary school environment

- Safeguarding training

-Experience working with small groups of pupils

- Experience planning and running group sessions

-SEN experience (ASC)

- UK address and right to work

- Enhanced Childs workservice DBS on the update service (we can help with this)

- Adaptive and engaging work style

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
