An OFSTED rated 'Good' Primary School in the Hulme area of South Manchester, are looking for a teaching assistant to work in a vibrant Year 3 Class. The position would start from September 2020 and will run up until the end of the academic year. The ideal candidate will have experience within school or should be looking towards developing their career in the education sector. This role is to work in a "GOOD" primary school with supportive staff and eager children who make continuous progression in all areas. This makes for a good working environment and an excellent opportunity for the right person.

The daily rate for this position is between �65 - �70 per day and has the possibility to become permanent after a short probationary period.

The Head teacher is looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who holds a Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent. The ideal candidate will be expected to take small intervention groups and will be confident in delivering to the whole class where necessary.

To be considered, you will have recent and relevant experience supporting learning across KS2 and will be looking to develop your career in education.

The successful candidate would be expected to,

* Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis focusing on literacy and numeracy
* Conduct structured activities for small groups of children
* Support the class teacher in day to day activities
