Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate behaviour mentor and learning support assistant on behalf of an excellent primary school located in Hounslow.

This is a full-time position providing support across KS2, including carrying out interventions with children with challenging behaviour. This can include behaviours such as not completing class activities, throwing learning equipment around the classroom and distracting peers from learning in the classroom. The position requires a calm and dedicated member of staff to prioritise the needs of the pupils. You will support a range of students with complex needs including special educational needs e.g. autism, ADHD, global learning delay and behavioural issues.

This is the opportunity to work in a good primary school with a experienced senior leadership team, it will be a full time position - offering a varied wage depending on experience.

The ideal candidate:

* At least 6 months experience supporting challenging behaviour in a classroom based environment
* Good role model with good command of the English language
* Confident working with students with SEN requirements
* Youth work experience
* A degree in psychology or criminology is ideal, but not necessary

This role is starting in September 2020 and the salary is dependant on qualification and experience.
