Secondary Support Mentor

Are you looking for day to day work?

Are you currently studying and want to earn whilst you learn?

Are you a caring and compassionate person who likes working with children?

Teaching Personnel have a number of schools in the Oxford/Buckinghamshire area and from time to time need support assistants, behaviour buddies, and creative people to help support the students within SEN classroom settings.

My schools are going to be requiring additional catch up support and would require some nurture support for children with Social Emotional and Mental Health. With so much school missed and the pandemic not only putting worry on parents but also on children we are working with our schools closely to support students who have been most effected.

Pupil catch up can consist of 1-1 mentoring, classroom support with group work, online mentoring for the most at risk and behaviour support. This is going to be key moving forward into September and it is important schools can gain the best staff for their transitions.

The aim is to develop self-esteem and confidence in our students, thus helping to further support academic achievements.

Personal qualities required:

* A good listener and sensitivity to pupils needs
* A sense of responsibility
* Positive behaviour management
* A good sense of humour
* Creative and fun attitude
* Any experience working with children
* Any SEN experience

If you are passionate to work with pupils with additional needs and would like to know more please do contact Jade on 0118 3271585
