Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a passionate and inspiring Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and talented team at an Ofsted graded 'good' school in the Yate area. This school require an enthusiastic, professional and ambitious Teaching Assistant to join a growing school that is passionate about transforming and enriching student's education. This Teaching Assistant role includes supporting a small group of EYFS/KS1 children with hearing impairments, therefore experience of the early years curriculum. You will be working with the teacher to clarify and deliver instructions, support children's social and emotional development and deliver pre-planned speech, language and communications interventions.

What we are looking for:

* A passionate individual who wants to be a part of transforming education and be involved in the development of the whole school
* Can enthuse, motivate and engage children in all areas of learning
* Has experience of working in EYFS, KS1 or 2 and assisting the class teacher to deliver high quality teaching and learning in the classroom
* Has experience in delivering interventions across the school or is interested in undertaking this role
* Has a knowledge or experience of working with special needs or is happy to apply themselves to this role
* Is a team player with good communication skills and willing to work flexibly alongside a range of children and adults
* Has a range of effective positive behaviour management skills
* Has a clear understanding of the importance of assessment and a clear understanding of SEN procedures and processes
