Teaching Personnel work very closely various clients in theBirmithe Coventry & Warwick area to provide 1:1 tuition to pupils who require additional support and intervention. With the recent government announcements with tuition and catch up funding for young people - we are expecting this academic year to be busier than ever!

The students you will be working with can vary from those in school who require catch up tuition, to some pupils who are not in education or if they are it is only part time, therefore the tuition takes place during the school day. The tuition is normally can be anything from range from 5 hours a week to 30 per week depending on the amount you would like to take on. This can fit in with teachers that need the flexibility and quite often those that have the do the school runs as it is normally between 9-3 that the tuition takes place.

This is work that is available all year round, and is a role that can be extremely rewarding.

Pupils may need tuition for a variety of reasons including:

* Behavioural difficulties so been excluded and waiting for school placement
* Emotional needs including school phobia or anxiety
* Medical needs where they are in and out of hospital
* Relocation so waiting for a school placement
* Improvement in grades

Tutor's from a variety of backgrounds are welcome - although you would ideally be educated to degree standard as a minimum. Experience with SEN or working with children on a 1:1/small group basis would be desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
