Join a successful secondary school who are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and engaging Food Technology Teacher on a temporary contract.

* Full-time Teacher of Food Technology required from September 2020
* Fixed term contract until July 2021 in the first instance
* Teaching up to GCSE level with full responsibilities of planning and marking.
* Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) encouraged to apply
* Pay in line with MPS and UPS (�24,373 - �40,490 per annum)

The successful Food Technology teacher will join an established team of four other specialists and will have access to their classroom. Situated in the North Manchester area, our partner secondary school can easily be reached via several public transport options. This position has arisen due to a staffing gap and will incorporate teaching Food Technology across both KS3 and KS4. As this position is an open gap within the department, the successful Food Technology teacher will initially be appointed on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year, with a permanent contract available for the perfect candidate.

It is essential that the incoming Food Technology teacher has experience teaching Food Technology across both KS3 and KS4 and is able to deliver lessons that stretch and challenge learners of all ability levels. Experience of teaching other aspects of the Design and Technology curriculum is desirable not essential for those applying for this role.
