Teaching Personnel are working alongside an 'Outstanding' school that is able to offer an incredibly exciting opportunity for an innovative and passionate RE teacher or assistant Head of Department.

As a Catholic school, the RE curriculum constitutes 10% of students' timetables across KS3 and KS4. It is essential that this curriculum is well planned and delivered and therefore provides our students with a strong and compassionate religious, moral and ethical education. The department is ready for a new phase and this is a potentially once in a career opportunity to help develop a new and contemporary RE vision and curriculum for our students.

The school attracts approximately 35% practicing Catholics as new entrants and welcomes students from a wide range of Christian denominations as well as students of other faiths, such as Islam and Sikh, as well as students of no faith. The school is incredibly proud of its Catholic life and Servite values.

The school environment is open and welcoming, with a vision for inclusion, compassion and empathy. An injection in funding has helped the school open a new building with excellent facilities, strong track record in academic results, and a community that is cohesive and supportive.

* QTS or PGCE in Religious Studies
* Experience in UK education
* Enhanced DBS on the update service
* 2 career references from previous roles
