We are looking for an experienced Primary Teacher to take on a part-time teaching role in a small village primary school located in the Peterborough area.

Qualified Teacher Status is a minimum requirement for this position.

The class you will be teaching is a lower KS2, mixed year 3 and 4 class at full capacity, and therefore requires someone with a strong level of classroom management skills, as well as the ability to plan classes that follow the national curriculum effectively.

Successful applicants will be expected to work 3 days a week starting in September, and can expect the additional support of a qualified Teaching Assistant who will be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and maintaining their focus on set work. PPA time is shared with the other teacher of the class, distributing the work load and making this an ideal role for a teacher who is looking to take a step back from the responsibility of a full time class teaching role.

The school are willing to be flexible on the three days that require applicants to work, so if your availability is not certain - we still highly encourage you to apply!

Ideal applicants will:

* Have their own transport
* Hold QTS
* Have a professional level of classroom management skills
* Possess Extensive knowledge of the national curriculum
* Motivate and encourage primary school children to learn
