Merseyside Secondary school looking to appoint an RE teacher to cover a KS3 RE timetable ASAP for the full autumn term (until the Christmas break).

*This role will only involve teaching RE to lower school level (KS3), therefore all Humanities teachers (RE, History and Geography) who hold experience teaching RE are welcome and encouraged to apply*

Due to an ongoing maternity leave, our client school are looking to appoint a RE teacher immediately to cover a Y9 bubble, initially for the first term on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will benefit from excellent support from the department, and there is a possibility this post will be extended into the new year.

* Supply rate in line with MPS for first term (GBP110 - GBP160 per day)

* Multicultural school with excellent facilities and a supportive Humanities department

Our client school is a large community school in Merseyside, Ofsted noted the inclusive and harmonious community feel in which students are respectful towards staff and one another, as well as a pride in their newly built school which has made a visible difference in the levels of attainment, progress and attendance. The school is supported by a national leader for education at another local school and the school meets the government's current floor standards that set the minimum expectations for pupils' attainment and progress.

Applicant Requirements:

*PGCE in Humanities

*Previous experience teaching lower school Religious Education essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
