Opportunity to provide in class support for secondary school pupils at varying levels of learning requirements.

* Full-time Learning Support Assistant.
* For an immediate start until the end of the academic year.
* Supporting identified pupils who require extra support with specific subjects due to additional learning needs.
* Earn up to �1400 per month!

The successful candidate will be expected to support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis during mainstream lessons. The incoming Learning Support Assistant will be working alongside several class teachers, guiding pupils aged 11-16 and reporting their progress back to senior members of the department. Some pupils have additional learning needs such as dyslexia and dyspraxia and therefore, more focussed attention with subjects such as English and Maths is highly beneficial to their attainment grades.

Any experience working with individuals who have additional learning needs is desirable as these skills will be highly transferrable.

The school is located in Bury and is easily accessible via the M66/A56 from surrounding areas of Greater Manchester such as Bolton and Rochdale. For candidates who do not have their own transport, the school can also be accessed via several forms of public transport from areas such as Whitefield, Prestwich and Middleton.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
