Learning Support Assistant

Join a successful secondary school in South Manchester seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant on a full-time temporary basis.

The successful LSA's will take responsibility of supporting students across years 7 - 11 with a particular focus on students with additional and complex needs and those who require behaviour support.

As an LSA you will be responsible for supporting students across the age range, helping to remove barriers to learning and improving student involvement and progress. You will also monitor behaviour throughout school and provide individualised support to help improve students' behaviour, attitude and progress.

We are looking for a confident and caring LSA's who are committed to raising the achievement of all students. You will have excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to work well in a team. You will need to have a flexible approach and will be confident in supporting individual pupils on a one to one and small group basis.

* Have experience working with young people aged 11-16
* Be able to provide support for all pupils including those with additional and complex needs
* Be enthusiastic, resilient and motivated to help achieve the best outcome for all students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
