A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Primary Teacher seeking work in the Chorley area. The Head Teacher of a Roman Catholic primary school in Chorley is seeking to appoint an inspiring and committed Class Teacher to teach their mixed Year 2/3 class on a full-time basis from 23 rd November 2020 until the end of the academic year.

The school is an ofsted graded 'GOOD' primary school located in a rural area of Chorley. The school welcome children and families of all faiths and those with none - it is recognised that we have so much in common with each other than those things that make us different. The children's education is at the centre of all that they do, and pupils flourish socially, academically and emotionally in the school due to the exceptional standard of education and care that they receive.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience of teaching a mixed year group class, as well as teaching in Year 2 on the lead up to their end of KS1 SATs. The school are looking for a Primary Teacher who has a track record of raising attainment in the core curriculum, who will fit in well with their current team of staff and who is able to confident promote the Catholic ethos throughout their practice.
