Behaviour Support Assistant

Here at Teaching Personnel we are working with a school based in Tadworth who are looking for support with their children and young people, inside and outside the classroom environment.

The successful applicant must:

- have some knowledge on how to support pupils with SEMH (social, emotional, mental health) needs

- establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with the pupils

- be able to manage challenging behaviour effectively

- be resilient in their attitude and approach

- liaise with other staff to ensure the pupil can access the learning and stay happy in school

- be able to communicate effectively with the pupil they are providing support to

This school caters for children with a range of complex needs. The school provides a safe and structured learning environment that enables all children and young people to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Hours: 8:30-15:30pm or 08:30-16:30pm (Extra hours will be paid accordingly)

Monday-Friday (part time considered)

Pay: �70-90 a day depending on experience

Experience is not necessary although the applicant must possess the correct qualities to work with children and young people in education.

You will be expected to work 1:1 or with small groups when needed and also be comfortable with personal care. Please note, we do not offer visa sponsorships.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
