LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT - SEND SUPPORT - PRIMARY - HIGH WYCOMBE

Learning Support Assistant required on a full-time or part-time basis to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs.

Monday-Friday 8:30am-15:30pm.

Full-time, part-time or flexible work available.

Competitive rates of pay - Daily rate starting from �70.

Paid on a weekly basis

Working with small groups or on a 1 to 1 basis.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Supporting the students inside and outside the classroom

- Working 1:1 or 2:1 differentiating levels of support

- Preparing the classroom and any resources needed by the Teacher

- Managing behaviours

- Attend to medical needs (training given)

- Engage and interact with the children to suit individual needs

- Provide sensory activities

- Support with reading and/or writing

- Attend any relevant CPD training

The successful applicant must be prepared to provide personal care. The ideal person for this role would be an experienced carer, nursery assistant or SEN teaching assistant. Although experience is preferred, it's not essential - as long as you are caring, nurturing, resilient and are also willing to learn on the go!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
