Teaching Personnel are working with a Secondary School based in the heart of Trafford, who are specifically looking for an outgoing and sociable Teaching Assistant to join their team. Ideally a successful candidate should be available to start as soon as possible and be committed to working full-time (8:15am - 3:15pm) with the school until the end of the academic year.

* The pay for the role is between �400-�600 per week depending on experience

The nature of the education environment is becoming extremely competitive, and the role of a Maths and Science Teaching Assistant is essential for this school. The introduction of this role is required to target and specifically bridge the gap and support students who are disadvantaged with significantly less opportunities than other children across the UK. It is important that applicants are kind and patient so that they can connect with these students who are struggling with the subject matter and lack confidence.
Expectations from applicants:
* It is crucial that candidates are confident in their Maths and Science ability and have a strong proficiency in the subject - as they will be supporting up to GCSE level
* Applicants must be organised and willing to provide detailed feedback of student progress and development to teachers
* It is essential that applicants can remain calm yet firm when having to deal with poor behaviour and are confident in their ability to maintain control a disruptive classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
