We are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to work at one of our local schools in Bournemouth!
The school is a truly lovely provision for learners with autism and complex needs. They are looking for a proactive and patient team player, with a passion for helping others and supporting vulnerable people.
As an SEN TA, you will provide 1-1 support within the class, helping pupils to access and participate in lessons. You may also work 1-2 and in small groups of pupils, alongside other support staff. The school has a high staff: pupil ratio and provides high-quality education through a fun, activities-based curriculum.
What are we looking for?
* Classroom experience isn't required - we are looking for someone with a true passion for working in education/SEN
* Relevant experience in a related area is beneficial eg support work, youth volunteering, sports coaching etc
* A positive person who can approach the role with empathy
