Are you an aspiring teacher that has recently graduated from university? Are you taking a gap year and looking for a role to gain new skills and experiences for the future?

If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you to gain further experience within primary and secondary school settings in and around the Wigan and Leigh area prior to applying for a secondary teacher training course in the future.

* Full time and part time graduate teaching assistant positions available ASAP
* Supporting Primary pupils and Secondary Pupils during the build up to SAT's and GCSE's.
* Ideal opportunity for any graduates considering a career as a teaching assistant or for those wanting to go on to complete a teacher training course
* Earn between �1000 - �1200 per month whilst gaining invaluable experience towards a career in secondary education

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant will gain experience working alongside class teachers in a number of areas (especially Maths, English).

* You will be assisting the teacher in class helping them manage behaviour of students
* Covering lessons with pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher
* You will lead small intervention sessions with students that are behind in work.
* Working alongside pupils on 1:1 basis

The ideal candidate will be flexible to both school sectors. Experience is not required, but the candidate must be proactive, confident and eager to learn.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
