Are you a Science specialist looking for a new role this academic year??

Teaching Personnel are working with a client school in Grimsby to source a Teacher of Science for an immediate start!

The role is long term and expected to end in summer 2023, but there is scope for it to run longer. The school will be advertising for a permanent role at an unknown time during the year for a September 2023 start, therefore there will be the opportunity for the successful Supply Teacher to become a permanent staff member. All Science specialisms will be considered as the department is well resourced across Physics, Biology and Chemistry.

The Role:

An ideal full time position for either a NQT or FQT looking for a long-term position
Based in a school in Grimsby with excellent transport links to the local area
You will be required to teach Science to secondary school pupils between the ages of 11-16 years (KS3 - KS4)
Timetable will be a mixture of the three sciences
Preparing and planning for lessons with marking required
Following and promoting the school curriculum and pushing for highest attainment
Pay between �140 - �210 per day for the first 12 weeks of the role (after 12 weeks: AWR rate, paid to the scale the school would pay at directly)

Candidate Requirements:

Must have QTS and experience teaching Science to GCSE
The ability to teach Key Stage 4 is essential
Willingness to take on some intervention groups and booster sessions
Strong behaviour management with experience working with SEN pupils a preference
Will have excellent subject knowledge and a desire to provide the best education to pupils
Will be required to apply for a Child Workforce DBS, if you do not already have one on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
