Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a secondary school in the outer Boston area. The Head Teacher is seeking a Maths Specialist to commence a long term post from Easter 2023 until at least July 2023. The vacancy is available on a full time basis and the successful applicant will teach Key Stage 4 (Years 10 and 11) taking GCSE groups across the subject.
Based in the South East Lincolnshire area, this secondary school for 11-18 year olds has been graded 'Good' by Ofsted. The department require a strong, dedicated Maths Teacher to deliver a creative and inspiring curriculum to motivate KS4 students to realise their full potential. Expectations for behaviour across the school are very high and the successful applicant must possess strong behaviour management skills to uphold these standards. Applications are encouraged from ECTs/NQTs and experienced teachers.
The successful applicant will have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognisable in the UK
* Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
* Previous experience of teaching in an education setting in the UK
* Knowledge of the current Secondary National Curriculum requirements for Mathematics
* Experience of planning and assessment to a very high standard
* A commitment to improving attainment for all students
* A proven track record for raising attainment and achieving targets
