We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Manager to join our team and assist the Catering Manager in the day-to-day running of the catering department in the restaurant, Lets, and Hospitality. You will work closely with other departments in the business to ensure the highest standards of customer care are provided in all aspects of Sodexo's catering operation.

To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to communicate with both customers & colleagues at all levels of seniority &  liaise effectively with other internal departments.

Main Responsibilities
To manage , hospitality & Front of House staff and ensure agreed standards are maintained.
To manage rotas for all Front of house team
To act as Allergen champion on site and ensure procedures are in place
To ensure the highest standards of customer care are provided in all aspects of Sodexo’s catering operation.
To manage Sodexo’s food management systems and support Manager & Head Chef with compliance
To promote & participate in an alert and positive approach to H&S in the delivery of allSodexo’s catering services
To undertake administrative work for the catering department- including eprohit and overseeing the stock control system for all catering areas.

Financial, budgeting & stock-taking skills, knowledge of food, food hygiene (including HACCP) and food preparation.

Desirable


Working knowledge of relevant health & safety regulations
Previous experience in the catering and/or multi-function environment
Food safety certificate 
Experience of working in an environment with Children and Young people is beneficial
