Job Title: Head of Modern Foreign Languages (French)

Hours: Full time

This private school is a leading co-educational independent school for boarding and day pupils on the Hampshire/ Surrey border. The school welcomes pupils from 11 to 18 years and has seen sector-leading growth over the last five years. The school sits within a stunning 1200-acre campus of rolling hills and woodland and, as well as producing excellent examination results, the school is renowned for its holistic approach and has won prestigious national awards in Wellbeing and Character Education. It prides itself on being a Foundation school, where 10% of pupils who have lost the support of one or both of their parents, are financially supported.

The school wish to appoint a highly motivated and creative Head of Modern Foreign Languages for the start of the next academic in Spetember 2023 to join their faculty. This post provides an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking to progress their career and would suit either an experienced, developing. You will teach across the age and ability range predominantly in your subject specialism in French.

The role will be predominantly dependent on your specialism of French. We expect all out staff to display a range of abilities to make a significant positive contribution to the vision of the school that is reflective of their experience.

The school are looking for a candidate who:

* Will be responsible through effective teaching and consistent adherence to the school's aims and policies for assisting students to learn effectively, develop personally and achieve their individual potential.
* Can implement, provide and engage students in an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum.
* Will contribute to the school's provision of extra-curricular activities
* Can monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher / form tutor.
* Will contribute to raising standards of pupil attainment and to ensuring that within the context of the school that value is added.
* Can engage in the opportunities provided by the school for personal and academic growth.
* Will carry out professional duties as detailed in the Conditions of Service.
