Teaching Personnel are working with our partner school in Oldham (OL9) to recruit a mixed year 3/4 teacher to join a high achieving KS2 department. The vacancy has arisen due to the current class teacher securing a leadership role, with the school looking to fill the vacancy as soon as possible.

The class teacher will be responsible for preparing, planning, and delivering high quality lessons to a class of twenty-six Year 3 and Year 4 pupils. The class has been grouped by ability therefore the majority of the class are working towards similar curriculum objectives, however, there is still an expectation to differentiate work, support and resource for a small number of low achieving pupils and those working at greater depth within the class.

The school are looking to appoint a teacher who holds Qualified Teacher Status, ideally with previous experience teaching in a similar class. The school welcomes applications from teachers who have held a previous KS2 teaching position as well as those you have experience through supply teaching or through a university teaching placement in Year 3 or 4. Ultimately, the candidate needs to have a good understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum with strong behaviour management skills being able to enthuse and excite the class.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
