Are you a passionate and confident educator looking to widen your experience working with special needs pupils?

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant. The role will be based within the Chelmsford area. Previous work experience would be desirable however is not essential, as long as you are passionate about working with children and wanting to make a difference then training can be provided!

Key duties of the role:

* Help prepare and deliver daily classroom activities
* Develop relationships with the pupils
* Provide an emotional support to pupils
* Assist in 1:1 and group setting work
* Help support challenging behaviour in the classroom

Key skills:

* Confident in a classroom setting
* Reliable
* Passion for helping to support SEN pupils
* Positive attitude
* Initiative to help prepare learning materials
* Child and Adult DBS - desirable

Experience in a previous career with transferable skills (Care worker, Support worker, Police or ambulance department etc) would also be desirable!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
