Are you an experienced teacher looking for a new role?
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a strong and encouraging teacher who has experience supporting children of all abilities, including children with ALN within a classroom. We are currently recruiting on the behalf of a school in Pontypridd. The successful candidate would be able to create engaging lesson plans, motivate children to learn and create a supportive atmosphere. The school is friendly and supportive with a community feel amongst staff and children and the headteacher is looking for an individual who also possesses these characteristics.
The successful candidate will be working with children within the year 4 class who have varying numeracy and literacy abilities, therefore the school are looking for a teacher who can confidently adapt lesson plans to suit all abilities. The class could also present slight challenging behaviour due to the level of support needed. The headteacher is eager to welcome an experienced teacher who specialises with KS2.
What will you do on a day-to-day basis?
* Prepare and deliver engaging lessons
* Discover new teaching materials
* Maintain class discipline
* Encourage full class participation
* Track children's progress through assessing and marking class work
* Keep up with any changes in the national curriculum
What will you need to work in one of our partner schools?
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE
* Enhanced DBS on the update service
* To be registered with the Education Workforce Council
* Strong Knowledge of the Welsh Curriculum
* Passion for education and learning
