ALT 1:1 Teaching Assistant | EYFS, KS1, KS2 - Hillingdon

We are looking to engage a Speech & Language Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 and small group basis within Primary school, in a fantastic School.

The role entails supporting students on a 1:1 basis to help them in the development of their spoken and written language skills; help them build confidence in reading aloud and engaging with their teacher and peers. You will need to have a calm, compassionate and patient approach, and a real passion for supporting children with additional needs.

MUST BE SALT QUALIFIED!

The ideal candidate will:

* Be a graduate of a core/ relevant subject (English, Psychology etc.)
* Have strong linguistic abilities
* Be patient and compassionate
* Have previous SLCN experience (desirable)
* Have at least 3 months teaching experience

Those applying for the position must:

* Have a Level 3 Teaching qualification i.e; CACHE level 3
* Have an enhanced DBS on the update service OR be willing to apply for one
* Can provide 2 References
* Provide proof of right to work in the UK
