Tarmac has an exciting opportunity for a Sales and Service Manager to join our Blocks business with the responsibility for our external commercial function compromising of a Territory Sales force as well as setting the strategic objectives and targets of our internal sales function and ensuring the delivery through ongoing support and challenge. This role will be a hybrid role
This role would be suitable for someone with demonstrated examples of managing a large team and working within a fast paced, high-volume business whilst consistently delivering the highest level of service to our valued customers and delivering the commercial objectives for our business.

Main ResponsibilitiesThe role of Sales and Service Manager includes the management of our external Blocks Territory Sales team who support customers across the UK, you would be a key contributor towards the delivery of our commercial objectives and ensuring performance to budget for our Blocks business as well as delivery of our strategic objectives.
This role would also include key customer management so a player manager type would be well suited. Working closely with the Commercial Lead for the Blocks business a strategic thinker with a drive and determination for success is who we are after.
The Sales and Service Manager with the support of the wider team, will ensure outstanding customer service as well as ensuring the ongoing achievement of our goals and objectives.
The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a Sales and Service Manager who has demonstrated experience in managing complex customer relationships with multi-site and multi-product dynamics whilst working under pressure whilst delivering excellent customer service as standard and embedding that standard within our function.
The ideal candidate will display leadership qualities and be able to demonstrate key behavioural qualities and set the standard for our internal sales force and develop our external commercial team by setting the example and constantly pushing for the best outcome whilst setting the standard for outstanding customer experience.
