SEN Teaching Assistant - Preston

Are you currently looking for a new role within education?

Do you have experience working with students between the ages of 4-11 years?

If so, Teaching Personnel are currently working with an Ofsted graded Good school based in the Preston area that are actively looking for a new SEN Teaching Assistant assisting students that struggle controlling behaviour within a classroom setting.

The successful applicant will be working closely with a KS2 student within a mainstream classroom setting and be familiar with appropriate safeguarding requirements. Prior experience working with SEN students and transferable skills would be highly beneficial, but not essential.

Role Requirements:

* 1:1 Work with students struggling with their behaviour management
* Pastoral intervention with both SEN and SEMH students
* Building a behaviour support plan with the school SENCO.
* Safeguarding experience within a school setting.
* Experience of the KS2 curriculum and phonics schemes.

You will be working within a passionate faculty who are focused on the development of SEN students, alongside working closely with the school SENCO and HLTAs to gain a better understanding on the students requirements.

About the role:

* PAYE rates of �11.85 - �12.50 per hour
* Weekly pay through school timesheets
* Located in the PR1 are of Preston.
* Full time - Monday to Friday
* Immediate start following Teaching Personnel registration.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
