Teaching Personnel are working with an SEN secondary school based in Morpeth, that are seeking a full time Taching Assistant to help alongside a Teacher. You will be working with children that have Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Speech, Language and Communication Needs, Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs, Sensory Needs, Cognition and learning Needs, to manage and support them in lessons.

A successful candidate must provide the following

* Must hold a DBS an enhanced DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for one
* Patient and Reliable
* Experience working with people with SEN / Disabilities
* be confident supporting children and young people
* Able to drive (preffered)

Roles / responsibilities

* Provide group activities and work on a 1:1 basis with children
* Work alongside teachers and support with developing resources
* Support pupils to engage in their work and regulate any challenging behaviours

This role is due to commence in September and will be required until the end of the academic year, with the potential of being extended. Due to the role being required on a long term basis, we are able to negotiate your daily rate on your behalf, starting from �11.83 per hour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
