We are looking for a highly motivated Band 6 physiotherapist to support the rehabilitation service at Farnham hospital on Bentley ward. You will be working as part of the multidisciplinary team working to provide rehabilitation for older people with a wide range of pathologies including falls, fractures, amputees, medical and complex multi pathologies.

You will be supported in the role by team leads who will steer the development of your role and clinical skills

We actively participate in clinical supervision, in-service training and have an appraisal system to help develop you personally and your CPD. We have a wide range of on-line training programmes to support your training needs. We support students from London and more local universities, and you will be supporting them on placement.

This is a full-time opportunity where you will work 37.5 hours across the week

The service operates Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 4:30pm with the occasional weekend and bank holiday working requirement.

Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Band 6 Physiotherapist you will:


Complete a thorough holistic assessment, including those patients who may have challenges with communication, cognitive impairments, behavioural problems or complex multipathologies.
To devise individualized physiotherapy management and / or treatment plans, using clear, evidence based clinical reasoning skills.
To represent the physiotherapy team at relevant wards rounds, meetings and case conferences to ensure appropriate management and effective and timely discharge of patients. Deputise for the team leader when required.

The Ideal CandidateOur ideal candidate will have:


Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
Membership of the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
A minimum of 1 years post registration experience across a variety of rotations
A full UK driving licence and access to a car due to the community aspect of this role
NHS experience.
