Are you on the stepping stone to management or looking to enhance your specialist knowledge in your next Senior Practitioner role?Our size means it is possible to shape your entire social work career in the Trust.  You will have the opportunity to experience every aspect of social work within our Safeguarding Team; therefore, allowing you to progress in your social work practice; as well as the opportunity to forge out a managerial career.The Safeguarding service are looking for a number of experienced Senior Practitioners to join our teams across the city.As one of our Senior Practitioners, you’ll find everything designed to assist you in achieving the most positive outcomes.  Because we’re focused on children and young people’s safeguarding and wellbeing and nothing else, you’ll be free to do the same.You’ll play a lead role on our relationship-based, trauma informed practice model, managing a complex caseload, providing technical and professional expertise, as well as mentoring and professional support to the rest of the less experienced social work team members and students.We’ll also look to you to lead multi-agency forward thinking approach, encouraging robust consistent partnerships with other service teams and outside agencies, plus the police, health, schools and voluntary organisations.About you….This is a key role in our organisation, so naturally we’re looking for extensive experience of working with vulnerable children, families, statutory bodies and voluntary agencies preferably within Safeguarding.You must hold a recognised social work qualif
