The Electrical Project Engineer role comes with a salary of �45,000, pension contribution and flexible working.

Responsibilities and duties
* Design and engineer electrical distribution systems for various applications, including grid-scale installations, commercial and industrial facilities, and renewable energy projects.
* Conduct feasibility studies, technical assessments, and economic analyses to evaluate the viability of energy generation & storage projects.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and technicians, to ensure seamless integration of systems into existing infrastructure.
* Perform system modelling, simulation, and optimization to maximize the performance and efficiency of energy generation & storage systems.
* Develop and implement control strategies for systems, ensuring optimal energy management, safety, and reliability.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in technologies, regulations, and industry best practices and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
* Support project development activities, including site visits, data analysis, and preparation of technical reports and proposals.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.
* Proven experience in the design, engineering, and implementation of power generation solutions.
* Proficiency in system modelling and simulation software, such as MATLAB, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
