An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person to join Birmingham Youth Offending Service as a Deputy Team Manager. As a valued member of the service, you will have a key role in supporting reform, contributing to the setting and delivery of strategic priorities, and ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of services. You are the right person for this role if you:· Can see beyond the offence and see the child· Want to tackle head on disproportionality and inequality across youth justice· Believe that behaviour is a form of communication and offending is symptomatic of their experiences· Are committed to hearing the voice of the child, their families/carers and their victims and bringing this into the centre of what we do · Want to work with children to build on their strengths and promote a childhood removed from the justice system. · Are passionate, motivated, and enthusiastic about delivering high quality services to children, victims, caregivers, and communities.· Have experience and skills matched to the relevant job description and person specification. · Have a desire to work with and alongside other
