* Job Title: Pharmacist Band 6/7
* Location: Surrey
* Duration: Ongoing
* Schedule: Full-time (Monday - Friday), part-time is also considered.
* Start Date: April 2024
* Rate of pay: �22 - �32 per hour.
As Locum Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in covering and assisting dispensary teams on the prison wings.
* Handling and ordering medical prescriptions for residents.
* Instructing residents how to take their medication and answering any questions.
* General dispensary and screening of prison residents.
* Supporting ATOs and Pharmacy Techs with checking when needed.
* Medicines reconciliation and drug chat screening
* Performing structured medicines reviews and education for residents.
Requirements and qualifications required for this role:
* Current and valid registration with the GPHC as a Pharmacist
* MUST HAVE PRISON CLEARNACE
* Some kind of previous community pharmacy experience
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Working hours and contract duration:
This position is Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, with the option of working 3,4 or 5 day per week.
