We are currently looking for a Service Manager to manage the service of a Local Authorities Private Sector Housing portfolio.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Creating a strategic plan to promote the councils private sector housing
- Ensuring licensing legislations are followed by private sector landlords
- Ensuring the “quality, safety and choice” of the private sector accommodation meets a high standard
- This role will also include completing tasks such as budgeting, developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and informing colleagues of strategies
Candidate requirements:
- Have an understanding and experience of using the Housing Act 2004 and the Crime and Disorder Act 1998
- Experience of working within a similar role previously, where you have lead projects, preferably within housing
