3 rd Line IT Support Engineer - Birmingham/ hybrid �35,000 to �40,000
We're partnered with a growing IT Managed Service provider based in Birmingham that is looking to grow their Support team due to growth and further investment. The successful 3 rd Line IT Support Engineer will join a vibrant and talent team of engineers who operate within a collaborate environment.
As the 3 rd Line IT Support Engineer, you will be resolving issues with a wide range of customers - this will involve project work and BAU. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for an opportunity to get into a growing MSP.
The successful candidate would have the opportunity to grow and expand their skills within IT, as well as progress through the business. The new hire will need to be familiar with a variety of technology including Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, Intune, Firewalls, routers, switches etc.
The 3 rd Line IT Support Engineer will work on a hybrid working structure of 4 days onsite and 1 days from home.
Requirements of the 3 rd Line IT Support Engineer:
* Proven experience in a Managed service provider (MSP) (ESSENTIAL)
* Experience in a 3 rd line support capacity and project work.
* Full UK Driving license
* Experience with tickets and ticketing system
* Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2012 -2022, Office 365, SCCM (or similar) Active Directory
* Familiar with Virtualisation - VMWare ESXi 7.0 Veeam Backup & Replication / Hyper- V
* Networking experience with Cisco or Meraki.
* An ability to explain technical problems in a simple way to end users at all levels within the business.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
