We deliver health, every day, all day.Supporting longer, healthier and happier lives is at the heart of the service that we deliver to our communities and something that we are proud of.Phoenix in the UK has a dedicated Wholesale Quality team, committed to ensuring that medicines are distributed safely and effectively to customers across the UK.About The Opportunity:We now have an exciting opportunity for a Responsible Person (RP) to join our Wholesale Quality team.You will work collaboratively with our operational teams and fellow RPs to ensure that PHOENIX demonstrates all aspects Good Distribution Practice (GDP) compliance, and that the provisions of our Wholesale Dealers Authorisation (WDA) are observed.You will have principal RP responsibility for a number of operational sites and head office functions.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure that the provisions of the Wholesale Dealers Authorisation(s) are observed.Carry out the responsibilities of a UK Responsible Person as defined in Good Distribution Practice Guidelines contained in Rules and Guidance for Pharmaceutical Distributors 2022.Act as Authorised Witness for the destruction of Controlled DrugsAdvocate for and promote a culture of quality in PHOENIXProvide Advice on GDP and other quality matters to colleagues at all levelsProvide oversight, self-inspection, Non-conformance management, Change control management of Phoenix UK wholesaling functions.Support the business in self-audit and appraisal.Key Experience Prior relevant knowledge and experience related to the distribution of medical productsProven experience in the relevant practical and managerial experience of medicinal productsWorking in a highly regulated environmentKnowledge and skills Entitlement to be registered as an RP or previous experience as an RPUnderstand the UK regulations in relation to the wholesale distribution of medicinesUnderstand the role of MHRA and other competent authorities in licensing the wholesaling activity of medicines.Understand good distribution practice guidelinesAttention to detailConcern for order and qualityImpacting and influencingQualificationsA level or equivalent Literacy and numeracyAccredited GDP trainingPhoenix Medical Supplies are an equal opportunities employer.
