About the Role
The role of an Electrical Supervisor is vital in managing and overseeing electrical projects and maintenance activities. This individual's responsibilities include leading a team of electricians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating with other departments to achieve project goals. To be an Electrical Supervisor, one must have a strong electrical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to solve complex electrical issues.
Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
* Lead, motivate, and manage a team of electricians.
* Provide guidance and direction to team members for successful project execution.
* Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project updates, safety measures, and address concerns.
* Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects within budget and timeline constraints.
* Coordinate with project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and clients.
* Conduct safety training for team members and regularly inspect work sites for potential hazards.
* Investigate and report any accidents or safety violations promptly.
* Day to day monitoring of test certificates returned to the office.
* To supervise and oversee small to medium sized electrical contracts including the management of day work jobs.
* Arrange labour and materials to complete the project on time and within budget
* To carry out basic estimating and tendering duties progressing onto larger projects as experience is gained.
About you
We would like to hear from you if you have:
* Level 3 C&G Qualified
* 2391 Qualified
* Proven experience as an electrician or electrical supervisor in an Industrial Environment.
* Full UK Driving License
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and components.
* Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
