As a Facilities Operator/Housekeeper at Sodexo in Cheshire SK10 2NA, You'll will be responsible for our corporate sites continuous improvement and operational excellence. What you’ll do:  


To own and take responsibility for an allocated building and ensure that a 5 star customer service is experienced by all.
To ensure food and beverages are available in a clean and hygienic environment, restocking where necessary
To be the first point of contact for customers in relation to facilities and catering services
To be visible to all customers and build relationships at all levels to create a great place to work
To ensure the building is compliant to relevant Health and Safety and Food safety procedures (completing food safety due diligence)
To ensure all unsafe food is removed and reported to catering management and made safe
To monitor and review and maintain the kitchen consumables within the building, restock catering outlet
To ensure that the building is compliant to environmental procedure.
To ensure that the site rules are observed.
To report all faults and issues to the relevant service partner as directed by the site services manager
To monitor and review the multi-Functional printing devices in the building
A level of understanding and appreciation of AZ SHE procedures and Safe Systems of work. To be able to issue minor Permit to Works and ATWS.
Monitor and replenish stationery hubs as required.
IT literate and conversant in the use of AZ business systems.
Able to work on own initiative, be efficient, flexible, reliable and keen to develop skills and experience.
To have a full working knowledge of the building including all services
To be able to identify basic maintenance tasks and report as required to Service Desk
The role holder will be expected to diagnose problems and propose a practical solution. Requires concentration and attention to detail in making judgements based on the analysis of information and experience. Works within well-defined guidelines, may occasionally have to make on the spot decisions to solve a technical problem related to the role holders area of expertise sometimes under ‘live pressurised situations’.
