As our Technical Author you will collaborate closely with the Business Systems Team to create and maintain a comprehensive suite of documentation, facilitating the efficient utilisation of IT systems within ESS.This role is pivotal in supporting our wider digitalisation strategy and ensuring consistency in best practices and procedures across the business.We are offering this position as a 6 month temporary contract. Key ResponsibilitiesWorking collaboratively with the organisation to produce a suite of user guides for G42/M42, serving as the primary reference for processing transactions within the business.Regularly updating user guides to reflect IT improvements and system enhancements.Developing and maintaining a suite of knowledgebase articles using platforms such as Zendesk Guide to support Omni channel users.Assisting in the development, implementation, and management of IT systems to drive improvements within the organisation.Providing training and user support to expedite the implementation of procedural changesDeveloping an advanced understanding of G42/M42/Zendesk and ensure end-users are fully compliant with agreed procedures.Contributing to the creation and maintenance of the Business Systems section on The Hive, our internal knowledge-sharing platform.Cultivating relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation and collaborate with colleagues across departments to support our digitalisation plan.What We’re Looking ForEssentialsExcellent technical writing skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise documentation.Strong interpersonal skills to effectively gather information from subject matter experts and communicate with end-users.Educated to a good level.Proven ability to work independently and take initiative to drive projects forward.Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. DesirablesGood knowledge of G42, with the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and functionalities.Previous experience in technical writing or documentation within an IT environment would be advantageous.Proficiency in a range of software programs, including the full Microsoft Office suite and platforms such as Zendesk Guide, Articulate 360, and ChatGPT.What We Can Offer YouSalary to pro rata from £25,000-£30,000 annual to £12,500 -£15,000 for 6 months25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysCompany PensionLife Assurance coverWorking from home available 3 days a weekSave As You Earn SchemeCycle to work schemeFree on site parkingFree Tool HireTraining & Development OpportunitiesRegular Discounts (eg.
