If so, we have an opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a Funeral Arranger to become part of our team in Ampthill!

As a Funeral Arranger, your main responsibilities entail arranging funerals according to client preferences and company policies, providing clear guidance on funeral options, costs, and payment terms, collaborating closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional service, meticulously handling all administrative tasks both on paper and digitally, managing payments, invoices, and donations appropriately, promptly addressing queries with efficiency and courtesy. You will also need to ensure all work meets high standards of accuracy, offering support to grieving families during chapel visits and time spent with the deceased, fostering partnerships with local organisations such as churches, hospitals, and crematoriums, and actively participating in bereavement support groups and community initiatives.

Hours of Work: Full Time, Permanent, 8:30am to 17: 30pm, Monday to Friday.

Funeral Arranger Requirements:

* The ability to be able to work well in a team and in a fast paced environment
* Possess initiative to share workload appropriately in order to complete an arrangement
* To be approachable and polite to clients with a smart appearance and demeanour.
* Excellent communication skills and a pleasant telephone manner.
* Have good computer skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

Funeral Arranger Benefits:

* Starting salary for those with no previous experience of the funeral industry is �11.50 per hour which equates to a full time equivalent of �23,920
* On site parking
* All uniform provided following successful completion of your probation period 31 days a year inclusive of bank holidays
