What you'll do:


Supporting the General Services Manager and Technical Services Manager in the safe operation and maintenance of all plant, equipment and installations defined within the contractual service sheets
To support and deliver the electrical and mechanical projects for the client to the agreed specification, performance, safety, qualitative and financial targets 
Accountable for managing/liaising with partner suppliers within their reasonable areas
Adherence to client policies and procedures regarding processes and health and safety
To deliver an ethos that promotes IFM with value focused on the customer and service to support client
When required, to carry out electrical & mechanical maintenance, and repairs to a high level of skill, conforming to the necessary regulations/client requirements
When required, to service, test, diagnose, repair, and calibrate engineering plant and equipment
Interface between the client and Sodexo technical platform and Sodexo local team
Use of IT systems to provide/monitor data and other management reporting systems
Participate in departmental team meetings and client meetings when required 
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the systems contained within the site be able to perform a range of engineering duties safely and efficiently as requested by management
Take part in Appraisals/Performance Reviews including the recognition of training and development needs
Work in line with issued Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work
Any other appropriate duties as and when requested by Sodexo site management team
To carry out PPM, Reactive Maintenance, and extra works requirements in accordance with set schedules.
Ensure standards are maintained to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the site systems.
Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
Fault finding and remedial works as required
Weekly and periodic inspections as per H&S Inspection matrix
Assist with other PPM/extra works related tasks
Attend weekly site meetings and toolbox talks.
To provide reports in relation to work and equipment as required.
Work a split shift system.


Desirable:



Testing and inspection – Certificate 2391


 PASMA/ IPAF


Water L8 compliance


Have held an Authorised Person (Trade Discipline Specific) Good health & safety knowledge and experience.


Proven background in electrical engineering discipline.


City and Guilds or equivalent in Building Services or Electrical Engineering.


Experience of maintaining some of the following: HV/LV, MCC’s, Switchboards, Generators, Lighting, Bus Bars, Invertors, DB’s, UPS’s,


Understanding of BMS systems.


Experienced in working with CAFM systems.

BS7671 18th edition IEE wiring regulations.
