You will commence an apprenticeship in September 2024You will take part in our structured training programme. During this time you will be trained by our knowledgeable and experienced colleagues along with attending block placements with our college provider.Programme Overview:Completion of a Level 2 Land Based Service Engineer apprenticeship standard and associated End Point Assessment (EPA)Completion of Level 3 Land Based Service Engineer Technician apprenticeship standard and associated End Point Assessment (EPA)When you are not in college completing your formal qualifications, you will be based in Medway full time learning from our experienced engineers and practicing your skills ready to be signed off as a fully qualified engineer at the end of training.What are we looking for?We are looking for apprentices who:Are ambitious, driven and willing to learn and developAre comfortable attending block learning placements at other sites in the country and learning both on the job and in a classroom/practical learning environmentAre comfortable from being away from home for 1 week per month during term timeHave a natural interest in machinery, mechanics and electricsCan be team playersAdapt to a fast paced working environmentShow good communication skillsAbility to support your team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.This role would be particularly suitable for school leavers or those who have recently left school as it is an entry level position.
