As a Junior Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and testing electronics and systems, such as embedded firmware, applications, and voice systems, used in various showering and shower control devices to ensure they function correctly. You'll participate in the development of electronics, firmware, and/or applications, incorporating IoT technologies and managing related documentation. Your tasks will also involve testing and troubleshooting both new and established products to ensure they meet performance standards, as well as devising appropriate test procedures and plans for hardware, firmware, software, and IoT components. Additionally, you'll be tasked with researching and exploring emerging technologies to advance the development of smart products and position the company as a leader in the industry.
Hours of Work: Full Time, Permanent
Junior Electronics Engineer Requirements:
* Electronic Engineering Qualification to Degree level (2:1 or above) from a recognised university or equivalent experience in the electronics industry
* Experience in Schematic & PCB layout ideally using Altium
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Good understanding of EMC testing
* Good understanding of stepper motor control
* Good understanding of high voltage PWM motor control
* Highly effective levels of communication, both oral and written.
* A practiced self-starter confident managing projects with conflicting priorities
* Appreciation of electromechanical assemblies
* Some understanding of firmware and software would be desirable.
