Situated on the beautiful Moray Coast in the North of Scotland, Gordonstoun is widely recognised as the world leader in character education. We run a prestigious and well-established Summer School (GISS) for children aged 8-16 from approximately 40 nationalities. Each year we create a vibrant international community where our staff play a critical role in creating a happy and formative summer experience for our students. This summer we are chartering Pelican of London, Brian Boru and Spirit of Falmouth to run a series of 3-night trips on the West Coast of Scotland for senior students aged 12-16. GISS are looking to recruit staff to work onboard in a pastoral capacity, to supervise and support the wellbeing of the students. We are looking for excellent youth work skills, experience of working with young people in a residential setting and preferably some experience of sailing and living onboard sailing vessels.Summer School operates two courses and the West Coast sailing staff are required for the following dates.
