You will be responsible for delivering a value-added activity target through high levels of engagement at all points within the account and demonstrate commercial value to parties involved.  Key accountabilitiesOverall responsibility for growing and developing a high value account in line with budget for revenue and debt. Working as part of the clients entrusted circle to ensure full revenue deliverables are maximised, for both businesses to ensure a long future relationship.Manage and develop business relationships within your designated account, from MD level down to site level which will enable various levels of opportunities across five decentralised visions.Involvement in monthly transparent meetings where service levels/ expectations and new opportunities will be supported and maximised both internally and externally.Utilising a bespoke proactive desk, where the team not only work on internal systems but are entrusted to transact on the client systems is crucial to delivery and relationship building.Identify and manage the needs of your account(s), ensuring sustained growth against targets, utilising the Account Team North and South, for any larger bespoke contracts or Joint Ventures.Ensure all customer leads are identified and generated, incorporating the wider internal business specialist to ensure Service levels and accuracy.Continuously develop your knowledge of Customers/ Customer sectors, and your knowledge of the Speedy Hire product range.Retain prior year revenue growth and be instrumental in developing growth expectations and strategic positioning over a 3–5-year timeline, Ensuring Speedy is embedded and always the trusted partner, but ensuring the digital journey and reporting is first in class and continually evolving.Working with Speedy supply chain and client supply chain to ensure commercial benefit to client and Speedy, but more importantly Service levels which are industry leading.Prepare and execute annual budgets and quarterly forecasts to achieve the agreed targets, incorporating the wider Speedy divisions for reciprocal trading.Effective engagement in company marketing campaigns and bespoke client supply chain days.Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.What we offer:Monthly cash car allowance or company carDiscretionary bonus schemeHealth CoverLife assurancePension Scheme26 days holiday (plus bank holidays)Free onsite parkingCanteen facilities95% discount across the Speedy brand.We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements and are promoting our Speedy Work Life Balance initiative which is a huge step in realising our ambition of putting our People First!My Staff Shop: discounts and offers for shopping etc. across many suppliers.Green Commute Initiative: Work scheme for cyclingVita – Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Offers free and confidential support and counselling to help you through matters such as wellbeing, divorce, legal, and financial management.Speedy offer a Career Line of Sight which enables a detailed understanding of the route to progression and growth within the Speedy Group.Please be aware Speedy reserves the right to close our vacancies earlier than the listed date if we have received a high level of applications.
