If you are an experienced manager or an aspiring professional looking to step up to a management role within the dynamic industrial automation industry, then we have an outstanding opportunity for you. We are looking for a Sales Office Manager to complete our team at Leicester Branch (LE7 7NL)

The main duties will include:

* To lead the team to achieve their individual goals as well as the wider branch, region, and
* company objectives
* Ensure quotations and orders are followed up and processed accurately in a timely manner.
* Reviewing customer accounts and working with the Finance department to reduce invoices in
* query and aged debt.
* Managing supplier relationships and sharing supplier information where appropriate.
* Maintain existing and develop new customer relationships.
* To support the Regional Manager in growing and developing the branch.
* Manage workforce levels and holiday approvals for the branch team
* Assist the Regional Manager in recruiting new members to the branch when required.
* Undertake regular team and individual progress meetings.
* Ensure all team members are fully trained on company processes and procedures.
* Oversee branch administration ensuring excellent customer service is achieved.
* Review branch reports regularly and take appropriate action, where required
* Engage with and support marketing initiatives
* Work alongside the Business Development team to maximise sales and customer service levels.

The skills required to be successful in this role are:

* Ability to lead and develop a successful team through coaching, mentoring, and performance
* management
* Comprehensive knowledge of the Industrial Automation and control industry would be
* advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
* High level of sales and business acumen
* Good time management and organisation to meet deadlines and follow through on commitments
* IT literate (MS Word, Excel & Outlook) and experience in CRM / ERP
* Ability to multi-task and remain calm in all situations
* Passion for sales combined with the ability to make sound commercial decisions;
* Ability to embrace and manage change independently
* Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with our colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
