Are you passionate about rehabilitation and improving offenders and employees quality of life? HMP Peterborough is seeking an experienced and visionary Prison Director to lead the establishment.As the Prison Director, you will ensure a safe and secure custodial environment that meets prisoners needs, promotes dignity, and provides opportunities to reduce re-offending and improve lives. You will provide strategic and operational leadership, communicating Sodexo’s vision through strong staff engagement and value-based leadership. You will also be responsible for meeting the prison's business and contractual requirements, managing financial performance, and ensuring high-quality services. Additionally, you will engage with external partners and agencies to ensure effective public protection and actively promote Sodexo as the provider of choice. If you have proven experience of working as a Prison Governing Governor or Director within the public or private sector and have strong operational management skills we would love to hear from you. For more information on Sodexo Careers please visit Sodexo Careers  Main Responsibilities Strategic Direction: Set and maintain the strategic direction of the prison, considering regional and local priorities.Strategy Development: Develop and review prison strategy, including an annual business plan and equality plan to enhance performance and efficiency.Performance Management: Deliver agreed performance and contractual targets on time and within budget.Risk Management: Identify, manage, and review operational, financial, reputational, and personnel risks.Staff Engagement: Foster a culture that attracts, engages, motivates, and retains high-quality staff.
