THE PIG – and The Village Pub offers guests a classic example of an English country garden that evolves with the seasons including a kitchen garden that will supply the produce found on our 25-mile menu.We are delighted to announce the start of our recruitment for THE PIG – and The Village Pub and have an excellent opportunity for a Night Porter to join our team.The Role:The nights team at THE PIG form the backbone of the hotel’s operation. It is not just about being present at night but preparing the hotel for the following day and providing safety to our guests.Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Light cover of the reception, dealing with guest queries & answering incoming calls.Providing a handover for the morning Reception Team.Cleaning of public area’sAttending to guests, providing a collaborative and considered approach all that you do.Safety checks in-side the hotel and out within the hotel grounds.Any additional duties assigned by the Night Manager, or Manager on duty.Skills & Experience:Previous experience as a Night Porter within a similar establishment is beneficial.
