Centralised Pharmacy Operative - MediPACPermanent role with full time hours - 40 Hours per week, working 5 days a week from 1:30pm to 20pmAre you an innovative pharmacy professional looking for the opportunity to be a part of the pharmacy environment of the future? About us: MediPAC is our facility in Runcorn that has been operating since June 2019 and provides “Hub and Spoke” solution for assembling repeat prescriptions in pharmacy. We are one of the UKs largest automated pharmacies, using industry-leading technology; our site currently assembles in excess of 1 million repeat prescriptions a month. Our facility assembles over 16 million prescriptions annually for all Rowlands branches in England, Scotland and Wales. About the Opportunity: We currently have an exciting opportunity within the MediPAC facility as Centralised Pharmacy Operative, based in Runcorn, Cheshire.You will participate in the automated facility to ensure the correct products are efficiently processed ready for distribution to the branch network for dispensing.MediPAC is a registered Pharmacy that are currently looking for either an experienced NVQ2  or somebody willing to join in Pharmacy Services to work towards a Central Pharmacy operative qualification.Who We Want: Ideally you will have a NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or accredited equivalent course if not you should be willing to undertake training to achieve the qualificationWe are looking someone who embraces change and is able to support the existing team to participate in new and future business initiatives.  You will have a positive “can do” attitude.Practical experience within a community pharmacy, hospital or manufacturing/industrial environment is a desirable. If you are a pharmacy professional looking for your next challenge and want to be part of the Pharmacy environment of the future then this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Who we want:Essential: Understanding of confidentialityEnsuring accurate handling of medicinesAble to demonstrate self-motivation & initiativeGood interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritise work loadAbility to work to deadlinesDesirable:Experience of working in an automated/assembly environment INDPMS
